Intense Colour Movement

Under the guidance of Curator Craig Morrison, "Intense Colour Movement" emerges as a collaborative endeavour featuring a talented collective of artists and award-winning poets in both Welsh and English, generously supported by the BBC Space project. This imaginative project delves into the fascinating realms of colour, sound, and poetry.

Taking inspiration from the groundbreaking work of mathematician Alan Turing, "Intense Colour Movement" skillfully blends poetry, colour definitions, and sound to craft a distinct and engaging experience. This union of sensory elements invited viewers to explore a world where colour, sound, and language converge, eliciting synesthesia-like sensations and provoking deep contemplation.

Over 30,000 people visited the exhibition at Plas Mawr in North Wales which was a fully immersive experience for audiences challenging preconceptions and inviting viewers to engage with colour, sound, and poetry in a truly innovative way.
