WHAT DO I DO?

I am an artist-curator and I am passionate about how we can create works of art that encourage appreciation of our planet without damaging our planet in the process. I have my own investigative practice, developing artworks that require no or low power and working with many international cultural institutions as a curator and creative director of large projects.

I have extensive experience managing complex projects in the public and private sectors. Notable projects include the Cultural European Project, Follow the Vikings in 12 European countries, and Thank You, Alan Turing, a BBC Space-supported project to draw attention to the Enigma Machine and the persecution of its founder by the establishment. I also have artwork in the permanent collections at both the V&A and The Science Museum in London.

I work to very high standards, and my reputation is based on delivering projects that set benchmarks in their field. For example, my public art program, The Beacon, is now considered an exemplary project for commissioning art with low-power needs.

My recent personal work focuses on the importance of nature, and I prioritise the promotion of environmental consciousness.

I believe that art can enrich people's lives, pose questions, and educate, and I am passionate about making and commissioning art that makes a difference.

MY EXPERIENCE
